Find out more about the AIDF Global Summit 2019

There is much talk about meeting the SDGs by 2030 and with just 11 years away now, how attainable are these goals? In all my calls and conversations, there has been a consistent or overriding theme on the difference that can be made to one person, by one person, one at a time, and the compound effect that can have if enough people are creating a positive impact.

We have much to learn from one another, and much to share. This was very present at our last AIDF edition: AIDF Africa forum, where our delegates initiated conversations, encouraged collaborations and deepened their understanding to support one another in addressing one challenge, one issue, one obstacle or one opportunity at a time.

I would like to welcome back all our familiar faces and all those that are not familiar with AIDF, to come together in Washington so that the knowledge that needs to be shared collaboratively can have a positive effect on the global aid, relief and development community and thus getting one step closer to reaching the SDGs by 2030.
